Upon entering you step into a friendly room where you find the Wine bar. Here, besides tasting wines by the glass, you can also eat in a genuinely relaxed atmosphere, combined with an "express" but very high level cuisine. On the top floor, the isolated and quiet restaurant in three small nineteenth-century halls, with frescoes and original paving, contribute to the creation of an elegant atmosphere. Finally, Osteria Tre Bicchieri also provides a Cigar Room with a careful selection of cigars, to offer maximum after- dinner comfort.
The cellar has no rivals, and not only for national and international wines (more than 1000 labels); you will in fact find a considerable offer of calvados, brandy and grappa of the best crops. Particular care is given to meditation wines, to be tasted in absolute silence.
The cuisine could be defined as Creative Mediterranean, with traditional dishes "reinterpreted" in a masterly manner. Service is accurate and deluxe, with silver trays and cutlery, porcelain dishes, blown-glass glasses and linen napkins. |

Just to mention an example of how careful their dish preparation is, consider that the flour used for the bread and desserts is grinded with a motorized stone-mill.
The orange scented rosemary sfogliatina with anchovies, followed by lobster Cannelloni au gratin and artichokes with crushed fresh tomatoes are strongly recommended. As a main course, a slice of brill in Barolo semolina-dough is excellent, and as dessert, ricotta mousse with citrus fruit in a caramel basket.
In the Wine bar you'll find the dishes "of the day": refined cheese and cold meats, crêpe flambé, goose fat-liver, raw fish, first courses and fillet. The vast range of proposals is completed by various fondues such as cheese, savoiarda, bourguignonne , chinoise , fish and, you must try it, chocolate fondue.
Among their offers also live jazz evenings (usually on Wednesdays). |
