Boasting a lovely veranda that opens onto the spectacular seafront and a fresh interior garden, the restaurant is run by the Defina family. Miky, the chef, is responsible for preparing the various culinary delicacies, while his wife, Simonetta, handles the dining room and helping diners, assisted by their daughter, Sara, who is also in charge of preparing the desserts, all of which are handmade on the premises.
The restaurant's characteristic "boat-showcase" displays all the fish that has been caught that same day, guaranteeing the freshness and wholesomeness of this crucial ingredient. From the attractive aquarium located in the interior garden, customers are afforded an opportunity to personally select the live shellfish they will be subsequently served. In addition to fresh fish, baked in a wood-burning oven or in salt, in keeping with the traditional Ligurian custom, at Ristorante Miky you can also enjoy a selection of fine pasta dishes. At the end of the meal, the restaurant guests have an opportunity to enjoy a glass of Sciacchetrà, a traditional white wine of this area; it is provided "on the house", as a gesture of hospitality by the Defina family. |

| The selection of antipasti is very tempting; be sure to try the "capriccio di mare", composed of 12 dishes, a glorious array of au gratin mollusks, octopus salad with cherry tomatoes, steamed baby shrimp and all sorts of other irresistible samplings. Some of the most interesting first course items are the Bavette with lobster, baked in a traditional wood-burning oven. One of the most popular specialties of the house is the "conchiglia" with "trenette alla pescatrice": a seashell of bread dough that is stuffed with delicious trenette (long, narrow noodles), and then baked in the oven. One of the most outstanding desserts, an authentic specialty, is the original Sciacchetrà cake. |
