Cooking tips Barilla's Mezze Penne, with their lively shape, happen to be the best pasta for enhancing the perfect balance of flavors in the tomato and ricotta sauce. Like all the Barilla sauces, this one is ready to use as it is, but in order to highlight the richness of its flavors, we recommend heating it over a low flame or in the microwave.
