This is a sauce that meets the favour of all pasta lovers, because it blends amiably with all shapes, particularly with Tortiglioni Barilla, which enhance all the nuances of its flavour owing to their central hole and to the external grooves.
Ready to be served on strained pasta, it will enhance the fragrance of its ingredients if warmed up beforehand on a low flame or in the microwave oven.
For the most refined palates, Barilla suggests adding to Napoletana sauce a few tablespoons of dairy cream. Otherwise, for a more intense and appetizing flavour, add a minced anchovy. From the very first forkful, you'll feel the warmth and friendly pleasure of the Italy you love.
